I was reminded of her greatness when I watched a FW repeat on CBS Drama the other night, and I couldn't help but feel that EE really missed a trick with her.
Imagine snagging a terrific actress like Alison only to have her play a cop in one of the worst storylines in recent years.
She could have been a fantastic character - Queen Vic landlady material, perhaps
