So I am sat in a sleepy daze with my boys watching Fireman Sam at the moment, I think it is one of the few childrens programmes I can watch, was wondering what you other parents thought!

Fireman Sam is good too. :D
Even when my grandchildren are not at my house I will watch Tinga Tinga, Tales from Africa.
The stories are delightful and the artistic colouring of all the animals is beautiful.
I also love Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time. :)

I find Gigglebiz strangely compelling... although surely most of the jokes go over the heads of the CBeebies audience?

Just about all of them, some of them are brilliant and far too good for kids. :D

About the only ones that I refuse to let my daughter watch are the Teletubbies and In The Night Garden on the grounds that they make your brain dribble out your ears.

Gigglebiz is a very clever funny sketch show, better than a lot of "adult" comedy.

Whilst it's aimed at slightly older children (CBBC rather than CBeebies) "Sorry, I've Got No Head" was also very funny.

As of course is Horrible Histories. :D

Phineas and Ferb has moments of genius in it way too subtle for kids:D

I just hate Dora the Explorer. It's the girl's voice just grates on me.

But like the OP, Fireman Sam and also Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. However, the best has to be I Can Cook with the lovely Katie.

For some reason one of my boys is terrified of Dora! Must admit am a fan of the Wiggles, know quite a few songs now.

I've seen a few things on children's telly that are alright.........

There's one show set in a farmyard where all the animals talk and have characters............I'm sure it's for very young children but it's very calming.............:D

And of course there's the Tom and Jerry cartoons

Something caught my eye when channel surfing.............Diddy Movies. It's far too good for kids.............

And iCarly is terrific.............really good sitcom for kids that adults can enjoy........to be fair there are quite a lot of adult characters even though the main ones are teens. And you get guest stars like Mrs Obama !
