I'd read they wanted a full on MF experience, but couldn't get it together in time for this year, so went for a single concert now, with plans for something bigger next time.

I have everything crossed that the figures hold up to encourage them to push on with a MF-like show.
It's a shame the BBC has seemingly ditched the national final. Though in recent years we generally got a choice of sending rotten cheese or stale rolls.
