Anyone got any footage from a show they wish they had managed to get tickets for?

I wanted to get tickets to Britney's Circus tour but there was a problem with the seating arrangements. Wish I had been able to go!

Would love to have seen Rihanna & Eminem's The Monster Tour, although it was only in America. The set list was just incredible. I've seen some footage and loved Rihanna doing vocals on some of Eminem's big hits. I mean seeing either one of them live would be enough but together would've been incredible.

Depeche Mode at the Pasadena Rosebowl, 18 June 1988

Pretty much any Pet Shop Boys show from the MCMLXXXIX tour to the Somewhere tour.

But for those I would have had to have been born at least 25 years earlier.

Amy Winehouse when she played in a small church in Dingle back in December 2006.

That's what I was going to say. It's the only time I've ever really tried to get tickets for a gig and been unable to and been upset when I couldn't. I saw them twice in the 70s and would have loved to see them again.

Just looking at recent events, rather than the distant past, I still kick myself for not getting a Friday ticket for Reading Festival three years ago when The Cure headlined.

Although I've been to countless Tori Amos shows since 1998, I felt too "young" to.see her earlier but would have loved to have gone to some during the Little Eartquakes/Under The Pink/ Boys for Pele eras. She was much more raw back then.

Oh and Kate Bush's Tour of Life in 79. I did go to one off her 04 shows though. :)

First Springsteen show was on The River tour, would've liked to have been at Hammersmith in '75.

Amy Winehouse I wish I had seen when she was promoting Back to Black.

Kate Bush as well, just couldn't get tickets. They were like gold dust.

Tip: always check with venues and ticketwebsites one or two days before a show for last minute cancellations/returns/extra tickets released. I got my Kate Bush ticket from Eventim websire on the afternoon of the show itself.

I still kick myself for not going to see The Who with support from Joe Strummer at Newcastle City Hall in 2000.

I've seen The Who since, but sadly Strummer passed away in 2002.

I'd have loved to have been at Bjork's Voltaic show in Paris. The footage looks crazy good.

Any time Lana Del Rey played in the UK in the past.

Florence and the Machine's last couple of tours.

Kylie Minogue's tours for X and Les Folies.

David Gilmour upcoming tour and any of Roger Waters' past shows as well.

Taylor Swift's 1989 tour looks like it's been so much fun.

My biggest dream is to see David Bowie play live but it looks like he's done doing that so I'll just have to be bitter I missed the chance.

I did. I would have been about 20 rows back in the stalls so probably wouldn't have seen very well, being short and having all those people standing up in front of me but I'd been so excited.

I got a full refund upon his death.

Yes I did. I also had tickets to see Nirvana at Aston Villa, so if you want any music act to die give me a shout.:D

I don't mean to be a horrible gloater, but I saw Amy Winehouse in a tiny jazz club in Leeds, a couple of weeks before she released Rehab. She was just on the cusp of becoming really famous and she was amazing (and a bit drunk). And I also saw Kate Bush - it'll be a year tomorrow :D

I really wish I'd seen Andy Williams. I got tickets to see him in Edinburgh, but I couldn't afford to go. And then he died not long after.

I saw Kate Bush's show at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1979 - I was 15 and went with my brother and a couple of his mates. We had really bad seats right up in the back of the circle but I'm still glad I went. I wanted to go to her show last year (or whenever it was) but couldn't afford it.

I had the chance to go and see Guns N Roses at the Marquee in 1987. Unfortunately, I couldn't be arsed to travel sixty miles to see some bunch of hair-metal poncey Poison wannabes. As I recall, I later won the 'Poorest Decision of 1987' award at an absolute canter.

    Still can't believe I did it...

The big one for me was a show I did have tickets for but it was cancelled: Van Morrison with the Caledonia Soul Orchestra, 1973. Probably the best live band in the world, ever, and the grouch decided not to play Birmingham.
