I went to a grammar school which was divided into boys and girls - a long time before me in the boys' school for a while was Ridley Scott and in the girls' school Pat Barker who is an authoress. Who famous went to your school?

    A few famous people went to mine, But I could not say who as it could lead to my identification.

    He was about 4 years below me and a friend of my brother, but Michael McIntyre briefly went to the same school as me.

    Sir Norman Fowler, Grayson Perry, Mike Smith and Guthrie Govan....

    (Though only Guthrie Govan at the same time as me, and he's arguably not that famous unless you're into guitars)

    God, you must be joking. The most well-known person from my school is a former pupil who gained some local notoriety after killing his baby son.

    Mike Oldfield was in the year above me at school, though I only found out about it via Friends Reunited.

    Rufus Sewell went to mine. And the drama teacher was that comedian that looks like Rik Mayall. Hilariously funny but at this early hour his name escapes me!

    If you no longer go to the school who the hell cares? Being so anal about giving out personal info online is so 1990's.
