I use pure rose oil, essential oil. Neal's Yard Remedies one is a nice one. I like that because it doesn't clash with my deodorant (Dr hauschka, the floral one).
Or else it's Chanel No 5. Mainly because my kids buy me it at xmas. I prefer the rose oil, but the Chanel has happy associations because of the boys buying it.:)
I dont buy expensive perfumes any more! found a website called Perfume Parlour, decided to try a few out and I'm so converted, the Alien, Coco Chanel and Pure Poison were brilliant and lasted so much longer than the originals and I got 3 bottles for under £20 I need to order some more as I've used all mine up.
I love Alien, its one of my faves but the smell just brings back so many memories of the past so I've decided I'm not going to use it any more so I'm looking for more suggestions, I love Vanilla type perfumes
I spent a few years wearing Chanel Chance, Marc Jacobs Daisy, Chanel No. 19 and Philosophy Pure Grace, but found my perfect signature scent a year ago: Tom Ford Violet Blonde. It works perfectly with my skin and I can't imagine I'll ever tire of it!
Lush's 'Breath of God' is very nice, too. Subtle and changes radically as you wear it. I bought some for my teenage son as I got sick of the stench of Lynx, but it is so nice I do keep nicking it...
I have noticed with my Chanel No 5 that I actually don't like the smell of it when I apply it but an hour or two down the line - absolutely love it as it evolves.:D
In the 70s, I had loads of different perfumes and one of my most favourite ever was a wax based one in a pot, Boots' own brand, called 'Clover'. Have never been able to find it again, or anything similar, but it really suited me.:)
I got a lovely new Acqua di Gioia by Giorgio Armani for my birthday this week - it's the nicest smelling perfume I've ever had! I love Armani Code too. I also have a little soft spot for Burberry Weekend
Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy
Gucci Rush

I bought one from Boots years ago but can't find it anywhere now. It was called French Kiss and was by a brand called Samba. It was lovely but as I said, can't get it anymore.
My joint faves are Angel by Thierry Mugler & Princess by Vera Wang. Always loved Allure by Chanel - get lots of compliments when wearing it & I wore it on my wedding day so that is a special one
I love lady million by Paco Rabanne smells so opulent. I also like one from my youth - Amarige by Givenchy. People always compliment me on the fragrance when I have it on.
Anyone else wear men's cologne?
I find women's perfumes a bit heavy, and a lot way too flowery/musky.
I like men's cologne for daytime and summer especially, Paco Rabane, and Dior Eau Savage - smells like lemons, are fresher lighter.
And for womens Coco, Cabochard, most Diors. And if I can find it mum's favourite old thing Crepe de Chene
I do!
I much prefer a fresh scent, or maybe a "soapy" scent to a flowery/heady one. Most women's perfumes give me a headache and smell a bit.......claggy if you know what I mean.
Penhaligons cologne is mmmmmmmmm! Always worth a free parp when I am in a posh department store.
