PiP - Aspect Ratio switching bug????

As I can't find mention of it on the forum, I think I've just found a bug.
Viewing BBC1 (widescreen) , switch on PiP. BBC1 also appears in mini picture.
Now on main picture, select TMF (4x3), The main picture switches OUT of widescreen.
Swap PiP picture (bottom right control) and BBC1 is back as the main picture, but it doesn't switch to widesceen.

Do I get a prize?

    It doesn't do that for me.

    Mine switches screen modes all the time, even when staying on the same channel (and sound modes for that matter). Not using a Philips TV by any chance?

    Yup, it's a Philips, and it does switch very well - especially well on ABC1 when it comes to the adverts.
