1) They recover very quickly from injury in Australia. Lucas in Neighbours broke his back and was walking a week later. It must be something in the air.
2) They're idiots. Angelo is probably the biggest idiot for giving him the gun in the first place.

Giving the bent cop the gun, then not taking it off him at the earliest opportunity was sooooo naff! Toothy Martha is able to drive, she would have done it in real life. Still let's hope it's the last we see of her, please not another story in years to come, where she finds life on the run too difficult and returns, aka the dreadful Kirsty.
