So according to the following link, the first live taping of the judges auditions is 21st May in Charleston, which is less than a week away. Guess we will be finding out the judges soon!

Probably, but maybe not in the first season they confirmed Cheryl like two days before the first auditions, so you never know.
I read somewhere that they were going to make the announcement after the IDOL final.

i think probably on the day, they seem to leave it to the last minute, as much as possible before ever announcing things with the x factor.

Paulina Rubio is actually quite well known in the US. She is a Mexican American singer that has had a few hits and won a number of Latin Grammys. She is an Actress and currently on the Latin American version of the Voice. She has had a cross over hit in the early '00's called "Don't say goodbye" she was once romantically to Ricky Martin before he came out and also Enrique Isglasias.
