BT to launch pay as you go service?

I contacted BT Mobile sales the other day and wanted to know when or if they will be planning to launch a pay as go service.
BT said they are looking into this and a pay as you go service could start very later this year. They have changed their minds at launching such service because of high levels of feedback requesting a pay as you go service.
Does anyone know that site where you can see future developments of virtual networks?
