Looking at the photos on the MB21 site, when you see a mast with DSO telemetry what does that mean?
DSO Telemetry is meaningless, but telemetry in this context is communication back to Arqiva on the transmitter health etc, they can also remotely control some functions.
The link is normally via an ADSL line, but the more remote sites that BT can't reasonably get a line to, use a satellite comms system called V-SAT, (same sort of thing you see some newsagents using)
