Cheers Martin - JT is one of my favourite authors - she has a new book out, hence the programme. I forgot to skyplus, though. ...... I had never heard of the other one.
Does this put Dr Sneh in the same category as Nick F who advertised The Sun? The doctor probably wouldn't say anything to the contrary about BUPA, and will he still promote the NHS?
If this woman (who works at a PR agency) is a kinda indicator of basically um the standard of um. basically people who come out of university then god help us all!
I must say how much I enjoyed listening to Nick Abbott's humorous take on Saturday night. listening to Anthony for the first time in ages, his programme is too serious for that time of night IMHO.
Ah well. Our Ken gone now and replaced by the women most of you despise here. Rob Hicks also gone and Steve Allen, all but gone IMHO. Therefore, apart from a smatttering of James Whale in the late afternoon, not much, now, to atract me to this station any more.
Cheers.

Between going away and coming back, Anthony seems to have undergone a personality transplant.
It's almost as if it's not the same person.
I used to love listening to him but, now, I can take him or leave him.

Which woman?
She maybe good at writing copy promoting somebody, but not good at talking on the wireless !

I agree with you, although I would suggest that the 'transplant' was imposed on him by management as part of their wider branding.
BTW, it seems to me that presenters are doing a few more generic topics again and I wonder if the management are having a slight softening. Even though I've just agreed with VQ, I think that a bit of the old Anthony is shining through again from time to time.
Is Ken losing his grip or simply desperate to slag off Boris and draw attention away from his own shifty dealings with HMRC? He's personally going to deliver a letter to the PM declaring his opposition to the London Mayor doing any other kind of paid work. Presumably this is a dig at Boris's lucrative sideline writing a weekly piece for the Telegraph. Who cares? I doubt if it takes so long that it keeps him away from his day job. I recall Ken spending his first year in the Mayor's office as a serving MP!

I'm in agreement about AD, I saw the old Anthony last night when he was doing the "worst film" conversation. I still think that he spends too much time waffling on but I could see a little light shining through. Let's hope it lasts.

Isn't it repeated next week at unearthly time of the morning ? Or you could podcast it !

I wonder how LBC will report the Health and Social Care Bill currently so much in the news now that BUPA is involved in the station?
Sponsorship and news stations do not make for good partners, IMO
I shouldn't think one hour per week will have to much influence on the other hundred and sixty-seven.
No i think he will be away for a while a shame as i liked him and he was very good with callers.
We'll have to wait and see I guess, but my point remains - news stations and sponsorship do not sit well together IMO.
On the brilliant daily soap Doctors, I sometimes see a Doctor Rob Hicks credited as an advisor, is it the same Dr Hicks as on LBC anyone?
Perhaps not - boils down to "follow the money" though.:(
Certainly Is !:D
Cheers.

Morning all.

Edit: You would have thought they would update their own online schedule !
2nd edit: Also on LBC website !
I think it was a couple of weeks ago. But now it is 'official' !!
We were hoping it was all a bad dream or a management leg-pull.
