Hate to say this, I really do.. and I hope i'm wrong because i'm a huge fan.. but the preview clips left me thinking 'Oh dear...'

Hope i'm wrong. I thought he was brilliant in hells kitchen.. but ever since the subsequent shows he has tried just haven't really done it for me. But.. i've scheduled it on my TV so I shall give it a try. A LOT of respect for him.

Love Marco. Not sure why the emphasis on couples, seems a bit contrived... Still, hope it goes well. Marco is fantastic... Seems fierce but he really does care and everyone seemed to like him in hell's kitchen even when he was harsh to them. I think he is a softy underneath :-)

Is that Caroline Quentin on the voice over :(

Seems to be a limited scope for the best restaurant only allowing those with a husband & wife team.

Marco is worrying me, the way he is waving that knife around casually...

That dreadful plate bore all the hallmarks of a chef that had picked up a copy of Marco's 'White Heat' and decided to try and pull off a ponced-up prestentation that was beyond his abilities.

Adore Marco, the best tv chef in the world. He is such an enigma, intelligent and wears his heart on his sleeve.

Quite impressed with it so far. Doubt I'll watch it every week but its alright when nothing else is on. With it being produced by Channel 5 I was expecting it done on the cheap, but its better than ITV's Pierre-White offerings.
