There are three pregnant women sat in the waiting room at the antenatal clinic, knitting as they wait.
One of the women puts down her knitting and starts rummaging around her handbag. She finds a tub of pills, and takes one out and pops it in her mouth.
One of the other women, intrigued, asked what the pill was for?
"Oh, it was a calcium supplement. I want to give my baby the best start in life by having strong bones"
The second woman, spurred on by this, puts down her knitting and looks inside her handbag and finds a blister-pack. She pops one of the pills.
The first woman, realising she's started a trend ask what she took.
"That was a vitamin C pill. It will help the baby develop its immune system."
The third woman sees all this, and not wanting to be left out, puts down her knitting and rummages around her handbag. She finds a pack of pills and takes one.
The other two women watch for a while but curiosity gets the better of them. "What did you go for then?"
"Oh, that was thalidomide"
The other two women are shocked. "What on earth made you take that? -You are 5 months pregnant!!"
Why, what else have they done? Apart from the mixed-race relationship thing that didn't seem particularly offensive, probably because I'm not a racist.

Always wondered where my nans knitting went. Glad I didn't get one as a scarf.
Who knitted your face and dropped a stitch?
Your thread title is misleading since you are referring specifically to this Benetton display.
they'll totally get banned for that.
I am so worried about it I can't sleep. I'm knitting to keep me calm under the pressure.
