Per the RTG Sunderland forum they all went out on the piss on Sunday night to celebrate the derby win, spotted necking vodka straight from the bottle at a nightclub in Newcastle - and it looked like they hadn't recovered today - well done lads, nice way to treat the away fans (who sang their hearts out today, apparently)

players can enjoy themselves, especially after a big derby win but keep it down a bit as the media eat this stuff up..

Not very professional behaviour, they shouldn't be drinking at all.

Could it not just be that they lost because they're not very good rather than an implausible week-long hangover and away fan guilt trip?

Must have drunk a lot to get a week long hangover.

Considering they only lost 1-0 despite playing half the game with 9 men away from home I think they must have played pretty well.

Dossena's tackle was one of the worst I've seen and without knowing the history between the players could be classed as a deliberate attempt to injure. How long will managers tolerate the talentless clogged that is Cattermole? He gets so many red cards, has no skill and seems to get a job based on passion & little else.
