Men who don't watch porn

Is it just me? From our culture you would believe that all men (particularly single ones) although apparently most of the married ones too are addicted to porn. And I presume that specifically means actual porn. Apparently violent, degrading, brutal, unrealistic, it's what all men are watching. Are they? I can assure you that I'm not. There's been the odd mainstream film that featured actual sex like Shortbus and 9 Songs. But most of it has no artistic merit. Maybe people just watch it because it's silly.

There is vast amounts of sex on tv featuring talented actresses. I doubt you'd find a genuinely beautiful pornstar either. If they were, they wouldn't be a pornstar. So what's the big deal?

I may well be a liar but I still don't watch porn. I'm not interested in other men's penises.

Saying that there is a degree of excitement whenever there's a rumour that actors in a film were doing it for real. Perhaps if it was an attractive actress I knew being featured in it I might feel differently.

I'm with you on this one.

There's so much nudity on TV i'm often shaking my fist at the TV. Just last night when those nude women were on i was shaking my fist at them vigorously until they left my screen.

Hehehe - my husband loves football.

I have to say that he doesn't watch porn. He gets a little embarrassed by it all. He was ill once I offered to buy him Nuts magazine (or equivalent, I forget) and he said he would rather stare at the wall. He really isn't interested.

That said, he does appreciate a beautiful woman. He often will say "she's attractive" when watching the telly, but porn. No.

However, he is married to me - so what more could a man want :D:D:D:blush:

That is so sweet. It's great you still believe him after all these years

You do make me laugh :D

Thing is - I wouldn't give two hoots if he did. He certainly wouldn't feel the need to hide it from me.

I don't watch porn either, does that make me odd ?

I've never looked inside the cover. I assumed it was a soft porn mag. Shows what I know !!!!

Edited to say, I thought it did have an odd article in there about stuff men are supposed to like, like cars, watches, hair transplants.

I'm no man so might be totally wrong, but violent degrading brutal porn is the normal preference, really?

I'd agree that most of it is unrealistic.

Why? Not all men need to watch porn if they have the right partner.;-)

My husband doesn't watch it either. He has zero interest in it, mainly because he finds it boring. He comes from Denmark so watched loads when he was young (way too young!). He has a very high sex drive and to be honest it wouldn't bother me if he had some 'me' time on his own but he doesn't want to.

It's like men who love football. They can't accept there are other men who don't like it.

I'd rather he watched porn than football though :o:D

I can accept it, I just wish they would shut up about it. And I wouldn't trust them with my house keys

I'm single and watch porn, but I'm not addicted to it.

The porn I like is not violent, degrading or brutal, but it is unrealistic. Many of the women are stunningly beautiful (you're completely wrong there) and most of the men have perfect six-pack physiques and the size of their dongs are way above average.

Sex scenes in mainstream films and on TV is mostly terrible and you rarely get to see anything. It's laughable when there's a scene where a couple are lying in bed after making wild passionate love and somehow the bed sheet has arranged itself to obscure all the naughty bits.

It is a well known fact that men are more visual than women. So they need visual stimulation during sex whereas women will overlook a mans imperfections if they have a good personality.
