I'm looking forward to seeing Alicya Eyo in the cast; but looking on the Emmerdale Facebook link, there's a lot of negativity around them (not aimed at any actor inparticular), but more about them being 'chavvy' and 'Emmerdale used to be full of nice families' etc).

Is the Facebook page always so full of skepticism and contempt?? :confused:

I've not been watching Emmerdale recently, so will tune in once again. Nice to have a gay couple family unit on there, in my opinion. Haven't watched Emmerdale partly due to that wingy git Aaron.

p.s. I apologise if there's already a thread - couldn't find one!

    I don't know, a family with an earthy feel to it could be what the show nds after the high class Wyldes and Maceys. Yes we have the Dingles, but the Dingles have sort of stepped up a bit in recent years. They don't seem as grubby as they once was.

    Alicia Eyo and Kelli Hollis are both capable actresses, so hopefully they'll make a good family.

    I can see them being hated for being chavs though.

    They may liven things up. Just a shame the lad playing Sean is so crap.
