I didn't think he got the whole answer in before the time ran out, how cruel was that
Just playede it back and he said James (left gap) and Caan AFTER the time had run out. Total fix imho and adjudication should have given them the prize
Someone I know in itv said the chase is fixed. The chaser is given easier questions in the final round than contestants.
This has been discussd before on this thead and it's been confirmed by at least one person who took part in the show that there are 2 sets of questions, in sealed evelopes, and the team get to pick envelope 'A' or 'B'.
if theres a disadvantage for the final chase, its that the contestants have to use a buzzer, the chaser doesn't.
they didn't help their cause by being woefully slow on the button. actually I recall a celeb special where one of the celebs was lightning quick on the buzzer- some posh bloke can't recall his name.

I hope I won too, especially as I haven't filmed it yet

I'm sure I read in this thread that the contestants pick which set of questions they want in the final chase?
But that was really cruel. I don't think he even said the whole answer in time.
It's been said on here many times that there are 2 sets of questions and the contestants get first pick, the other set going to the chaser
Yes but the easy set is always given to the chaser.
Think about it.. Watch again and you will notice its harder to get answers for contestant questions than chaser. Every time.
It makes the show closer.

is it? I must be missing something. both sets of questions seem quite easy to me.
