That's a lovely, gentle shot.
Must have been tricky to get, deer are so skittish.
I was very fortunate. I was in the garden, waiting for the long tailed tits when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. No time to change the settings - just shoot and hope for the best! Managed nine before she ran.
I like to think so. This is a general photo I took while on a day trip to England on Monday:- http://i58.tinypic.com/2s6lrtf.jpg
and this is one of my favourite photos taken in the garden:- http://i58.tinypic.com/2wf5jrl.jpg
I suppose in a way their fairly basic and not difficult to photograph but I just love the colours. I have loads of photos of the large snowfall we had in late November 2010 and other things.

A photography class is a good idea. Two years ago I bought an expensive digital SLR on the spur of the moment but I hardly ever use it as it's so complicated.

it`s not as complicated as you think, you can easily learn the basic manoeuvres in an hour, the rest is your eye and your luck.
You might need some good photo imaging software to spice your photos up a bit or if you want to improve them and you don't even have to pay treble figures either.
GIMP (that's what it's called, honest) is a good free app.

You'd think. But there is. My own experiences have told me that. It is quite impressive those that can take good photos.

I'm not a good photographer, but I enjoy snapping photos nonetheless.
Are you the pretty guy wearing the hat by any chance OP?
Thanks I try to frame some of my photos where possible.
The camera was on automatic setting, it looks worse as i cropped the picture to make it look closer hence the grainy noise.
Is this one Haida or Tlingit, by any chance? https://www.flickr.com/photos/markbellingham/12240731755/in/set-72157629380282545
