How does the audience share compare with previous CBBs?
Not too sure actually, hoping to see a breakdown soon of the audience. It was probably closer to the last year rating in the 10pm slot because the 9pm-10pm slot was very competitive, I actually expect it to have grown a little throughout.
BBC1- New Tricks- 5.79m
BBC2- Horizon- 1.83m
ITV- Long Lost Family- 3.86m
CH4- Royal Marines Commando School- 1.68m
CH5- Celebrity Big Brother- 2.36m
Sky1- The 100- 933k
Not bad at all. NT was down almost 2m from last year and LLF around 800k from last week.

Channel 5's latest celebrity edition opened with an average rating of 2.24 million (11.9%) at 9.05pm, with an added 115,000 (1.0%) on +1. Bit on the Side entertained 795k (10.7%) at 11.20pm.
Still think it is a mistake to have 2 CBBs a year.
Half this series cast are great and inspirational casting,januarys will be the same..For me this shows C5 have a much better grip on the selection of HMs they can get in a year..would prefer to see those 2 halfs put together in one series.
Add around 100k for it to be the estimate for +1. That's great to see it increase throughout (note the 2.13m is because it finished a little early). Brilliant shares for the last few, those 17.7% and 18.4% shares are fantastic!!

Most of those people switched off when Helen Wood come on, That and they realised it was rubbish

They need more live feed to boost ratings.
Last three summer first hl show figures:
CBB10- 1.71m
CBB12- 2.15m
CBB14- 1.75m
So it was up on two summers back. Wonder if it will rise tonight or fall? It's on at 9pm, so that could help for a CBB maybe?
I expect ratings to keep rising - fingers crossed.

Airing at the end of summer?
Who knows, I find the lineup boring and doubt I'll be tuning in, though I watched and enjoyed BB15 throughout - and many didn't like it.
Different strokes for different folks I guess!
People are more interested in seeing celebs nowadays. I love the mix.
If this was the winter series, ratings would be higher too.
if you are not watching judging by launch, bad move. A lot of people didn't like launch but are enjoying it now.
Part of the issue was my series link didn't transfer from civvy to celeb BB and I hate the adverts on Demand 5...
