    That's a tad harsh.

Harsh but true. I'm not anti-men by any means but male musicians always seem to romanticise these ladies of easy virtue in their songs ;-)

But, as someone else pointed out, the two examples you quoted didn't really fit the '****' profile. Besides, I doubt the Donovans and Cat Stevens of the world are dragged unwilling into the sack.

It would make more sense 'even if you were rich, my love wouldnt cost a thing'

We are overthinking songs by that talentless Jacqueline of all trades though

    We're just having a laugh. :D I like J-Lo.

Samantha Mumba - Body II Body:

"I hear you coming when I ring the dinner bell"

Seriously, she rings a bell when dinner is ready?!

It's by no means unknown! You might do that in a big house, or somewhere people might be working outside like a farm.

Sure, but it's a bit far-fetched in a context of a teenage girl singing to her boyfriend though. :-)

Absolutely hate Sonia's one hit wonder song.

'You'll never stop me from loving you' (threat)
'It doesn't really matter what you put me through' (doormat)
'Wherever you will go I will follow you' (stalker)

All sung in a disturbingly chirpy melody! :o The creepiest song of all time.

    Destiny's Child - Nasty Girl
"You make it hard for women like me who respect themselves and have dignity"

Eurghhhhh.....they sound so judgemental and bitchy. Then again, this kind of ****-shaming song is judgemental and bitchy. I bet Beyonce and gang look back on this song and cringe.

I always thought Nasty Girl was a strange fish that sat uncomfortably alongside their more positive, female-empowering anthems such as Independent Women and Survivor

George Michael - An Easier Affair

"Here comes one for the ladies for ones who loved me" irritates the hell out of me as it is cheesier than a case of Stilton in a warehouse full of Brie"

While we're on the subject of George Michael ....

    "I Want Your Sex"

No. No, you didn't, George. >:(

    I swear I won't tease you
    Won't tell you no lies

    Yeah, right. ^_^
