There are so, so many more that could have made this list, but this year I was foucising on the shows that have either entertained me the most or have been the best dramas. Things like Coronation Street ( ITV 1), Mad Men (BBC 4), The X- Factor (ITV 1) , Miranda (BBC 2), The Royle Family (BBC 1), OutNumbered (BBC 1) and Glee (E4) all throughly deserve honourable mentions. The multichannels have been very impressive this year with offerings such as Being Human ( BBC 3), Diary of a Call Girl ( ITV 2), Small Teen, Big World ( BBC 3), The Road to Coronation Street ( BBC 4) and An Idiot Abroad ( Sky 1) all being incredible programmes that have (mostly) attracted very impressive ratings throughout the year.
For 2011 I'm hoping that ITV can further get away from it's tacky image by producing more quality televsion in the form of a new series of Downtown Abbey and more effort being put into Primeval which I feel is a really good quality show.
The Inbetweeners (E4)
Coronation Street (ITV1)
The Apprentice (BBC1)
Bouquet of Barbed Wire (ITV1)
Gavin and Stacey (last ever episode was screened on New Years Day 2010, so it counts ) (BBC1)

Sacred Music (BBC4 - I love this type of music, great programme)
