Lifetime Channel on Virgin Channel 242

I understand a new channel called Lifetime will be shown on Virgin Media channel 242 from 4th November 2013. This channel number is already allocated to Bio Television. Is just the name changing on Channel 242 or are there a lot of new programmmes being added. Is the Bio channel moving elswhere, being renamed or just finishing?.

    it is expected to close down on vm that morning. 14hours later and this kicks off (it is owned by the same group that make bio, ci & history etc. think of this as more a remarketing launch with a wider women centric aim. the channel number of bio on sky is also the expected channel number of lifetime too.)

    Lifetime TV has been running for years - not a new channel - just New to UK. A lot of the content on Bio is on Lifetime and H2 so theve got rid of Bio in UK and launched the Lifetime channel in UK.

    O and the Xfiles will be on Lifetime

    Lifetime is just a replacement channel for Bio, they are/were both owned A+E Networks UK.
    Basically it is the same channel but with a new name.

    A+E Networks UK brought lifetime channel in 2009
