SR Iron problem

When I click on a link in a thread such as those in the 'Advice on New Laptop' thread on this page, instead of opening the link in a new tab, I get a blank page with the address bar showing,

and a blank page.
It doesn't do this in IE9 or Chrome.
I've run Malwarebytes, Spybot, cleared the browser cache and deleted all cookies to no avail.

There is an entry for awin1.com in the adblock.ini file.
Ah well, I'll just use Chrome instead.
