So whats the best way to make crispy chips?

simmer for 5 mins then leave to dry and cool (in fridge).

then fry once for about 5mins... then leave to drain and cool (in fridge). then fry again at a higher heat for about 3 mins. :)

skinny fries that is, bigger chips take longer.

best way I've found to make lovely crisp chippies!

Actually like the fact I at least know who all of them are and that was not the disaster the pizza making was :)

Just remembered I've booked in Simon Rogan new place in Manchester, for the 10 course taster menu ..... looks like it's full of interesting things!

I don't do true chips - I just parboil and put them in the other so essentially chip shaped roast potatoes.

    Hi just starting posting here,

I like this show but I don't know who any of the 'celeb's are usually:confused:

Why can't they get people on I have heard of?

Think I'll stick to my local indian... cheaper and yummy!

    Maybe that's it.

I have heard of old people like Richard Branson and Bill Clinton but I don't know most of these folk.

They might as well be people off the street:blush:

That chicken is just re-cooked in a sauce. It will be like rubber.
