Blimey. I just saw it on the tv in the Young Winston movie; it showed him as a combat correspondent.
That reminds me of the scene in Full Metal Jacket with Joker and Animal Mother:
Animal Mother: You a photographer ?
Joker: No; I'm a combat correspondent.
Animal Mother: You seen much combat ?
Joker: I seen a little, on tv.
I mean, that is the point; do combat correspondents see much combat ?
