JVC DRM-H30 DVD Recorder Help.

I posted a while back to see if anyone had any reviews of this recorder and found that it was unavailable. It seems stocks are now in the shops and with price ranging between 515- 800 quid ( tesco's ) i dont want to waste my money on buying a turkey.
The spec seems very good but anyone got any first hand knowledge of the performance ?
