I know in May they announced a new deal

Can anyone confirm how many extra courts we will get on the Red Button ??

Only 2 Recordable streams appear on the Planner when you search for Tennis in next 7 days

    it was 6 last year, so maybe the same or is it more?

    Lets hope those courts have commentary. Unlike the Masters Series Additionals.

    that would be great... but one thing missing from sky's red button is...
    COMMERTATORS on each court, even if its world feed or the Tennis Channel

    Hang on have you heard the American commentators Sky use for the US Open

    They chat incessantly non stop

    I am happy just to watch Commentary free !!!

    i take it Britsh Eurosport will still get one court to show action from..

    and it will be interesting to see if Sam Smith works for Sky Sports as now she works for BT Sports...
    i hope Sky still take her...

    Eurosport can show action from any court.

    *Assuming the new deal remains the same as the old.

    (Under the last deal) Sky had exclusive live rights to..

    1) HD
    2) 1/4 Finals onwards
    3) Evening sessions
    4) A match of their choosing from both (as in one from each) the Mens and Womens draw during the day session.

    Eurosport could show anything else they wished.

    on sky sports news it still shows 6... i guess we will have to wait till monday to find out

    Do they talk while the point is being played? Thats a big no no in my book!

    court 17 Laura 1st match
    court 13 Evans 1st match both start at 4pm uk time

    i hope the match sky put on the red button, they have comms for.. or Eurosport show live..

    Laura will be on Sky sports main
    Evans on Red button/Eurosport?

    Sky have chosen two Brits as their 2 games

    Eurosport get Rafas Court !!!!

    If they have 6 courts it ill be 11 13 and 17 on top of the main three courts

    Judy Murray with Sky this week, and so far no SAM SMITH, she would normally do this match..

    Sam Smith did a tournament last week for BT instead of going out with the rest of the team. I'd suggest she won't be joining them.

    BT has a huge amount of womens tennis over the next 4 years and the only womens tennis Sky show is the US Open so no surprise that Sam should commit herself entirely to BT even if it means no longer doing the US Open with Sky.
