If you relax the rules on entry then all that happens is that children are imported to that school from elsewhere whilst the children who would otherwise go to that school are exported to another area.
That doesn't sound a good use of resources and is probably harmful to the child.

As most local authorities have had to cut the support for denominational transport it makes these schools even more socially divisive. Like grammar schools.
