It's probably worth noting that children are taught at Primary School that 1) they shouldn't be on any games which they're not old enough to be on and 2) if they are talking to anybody online, they shouldn't give any information out I.e full name, age, address, etc - regardless of how old they person they're talking to is.

I see what your saying but I cannot and will not take part in this thread anymore because although I agree what you are saying to a certain degree, I think UK schools go way over the to with all this stranger danger. It's almost like they want kids just to not talk to any adults full stop. I will end my time in this thread by saying that one day all these UK schools will get what they want when it comes to not allowing kids to talk to adults. There will be a situation where a child will need an adult one day and the adult will just walk away. They won't be interested because of all the agro surrounding having "anything" to do with children in the UK. Peace and bye. ^_^

A child who is in obvious danger will always be assisted by any reasonable adult. From what i can gather you do not have kids of your own? The majority of parents do not want there kids playing games and communicating with adults that are three times there age. For that reason alone i would respect there wishes and refrain. There are loads of adult gamer groups around.
