Stockists of specialist coffee in Manchester

I want to buy a little treat for a good friend for their birthday and he loves good quality coffee.

Can anyone suggest a specialist shop in Manchester (where I'm seeing him on Saturday)? I know the usual high end stores, such as Kendal's, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols but thought there must be 'specialist' shops.

Not sure how often you can actually pop in and buy things but it is worth checking out and you might even be able to see them grounding the coffee etc....
