I really want some now dammit :(

Why did tesco have to stop selling them?

I don't mind their glazed sugar ones but they're a nightmare to keep fresh sometimes :(

Plus I like their chocolate ring doughnuts, haven't had any of those for ages (my Nan used to buy them for me but she died in April so rarely get a doughnut now) but got a box in the kitchen ;)

    Don't like any other doughnuts...

    Thank god for Greggs ;)

Wow! I used to camp at re enactments with the mead tent. We were usually next to the donuts, nothing quite like a hot freshly cooked one first thing....

I had some from a Stall in Scarborough last weekend and by god, they were delicious, hot, freshly made ones, where you've watched them get made, are the best! So fresh and lovely!.. they didn't last long..:D

Me and the gf got 4 of the freshly cooked sugar donuts yesterday. Piping hot and smothered in sugar. Ruddy gorgeous they were!

The thing that put me of getting them was the fly sat on one rubbing its legs on it.

I picked up a box of iced ring donuts the other day and there was a fly INSIDE the box! I handed it in at the bakers but then wondered if I should have done something further, like taken it to customer service and made a complaint on elf and safety grounds.

McDonalds coffee and iced coffee is as good as Starbucks/costa. I just fancied a donut since I read this thread last night. I noticed them on the menu while getting my daily caffeine fix. I have also got to recommend there chocolate fudge brownies! Honest.

I've been to Wetherspoons but they don't do doughnuts.

Thank you for blaming me for your lack of will power!! I'd avoid the thread on roadkill if i were you...:p

I'm sorry to break the bad news, (And at lunchtime too). But Tesco have discontinued their sugar ring doughnuts.

They have the choc/custard filled and iced still, (Yuck - they are so dry it takes a whole cuppa to swallow), but these, IMHO the nicest ever have gone - for good!

They were a big seller, and I have already complained as have many others apparently.

They are not even really sweet like the jammy ones, I don't like those and propose action, immediately. Or tomorrow maybe.

.....so we are left with just the hole......

They are back!! they are now called "LARGE" sugar ring doughnuts - which is fine by me, the price has gone up, not so fine.

    But they are absolutely lovely!
