Why is this troubling you, or is it just a random question?

You've got a double negative in your question so it makes no sense. But the answer to the question you were trying to ask is because it has never been sold here.

He's asking why a product that was never sold in the UK was never popular in the UK.

With a name like Kas, I'm not surprised it wasn't successful.

While I'm sure it looks sensible or even exotic in European countries, over here, it may as well have been called Huihufsr.

    Fanta sounds exotic. :)
    Tango sounds orangey exotic.

BTW, if the original question was meant to be why has this product not been sold in the UK, it's probably because Britvic already sell a similar product (Tango) therefore don't see a market to fill or want two competing brands.

there are loads and loads and loads and loads of different variations of coca cola and pepsi that just never made it here.

I guess they tried to keep it simple

I remember Cherry coke and Cerry pepsi and even cherry 7Up - they all just disappeared - apart from cherry coke which i see every so often.

then came all those "twists" of lemon, vanilla and what ever else in both coke and pepsi, which seemed to disappear also.

Mountain Dew also died some horrible death.

some things just dont dont work beyond Amreica.

like, we never even got Coke Classic - which is / was huge over there.

I don't know how he gets it but the Indian shopkeeper in the newsagents down my road still sells Cherry 7 Up. I've never seen it anywhere else and no one else I know has even heard of it! I love it, I wish everywhere sold it. :(

What happened to sunkist? I reckon that's part of the reason this almost mythical 'Kas' drink thing wasn't even foisted upon us. Too much competition already with fanta and tango aswell.

Mountain Dew was only taken off the shelves due to the high caffeine content at the time. It's back on sale now after a massive Facebook campaign.

Kas is huge in Spain, tastes better than Fanta too.

Apparently, Kas is only sold in France, Spain and Mexico.
