I'd forgotten there was going to be a third series of The Syndicate, there hasn't been much news about it, but on Thursday I saw a trailer for it before Just Good Friends on BBC2. It starts on Tuesday 2nd June on BBC1 and is set in a stately home. Lenny Henry, Melanie Hill, Elizabeth Berrington and Anthony Andrews are in the cast.

Absolutely loved the last series I can't wait. Surprisingly little hype by the BBC... I'm sure it'll be fabulous! So witty!

Why Lenny Henry ? There are so many better actors out there , more suited and more deserving IMHO

He's good! I wish he'd done more dramatic acting on TV. Maybe he will do from this point on.

Couldn't find a thread on this but didn't do much of a search (mainly because the search facility does not work for me). So, apologies if this already exists.

Thought I would start a thread in anticipation of the series start. These are lightweight but entertaining, in a similar vein to Ordinary Lies, but this time by Kay Mellor. Set in a stately home this time, a few familiar faces in it, including Lenny Henry. Not a particular fan of Lenny but think this might be his first serious role on TV. I am looking forward to it.

There is one character in this series that has been in all three series I think the writer seems to like her a lot to cast her in all three

Looks quite nice. Lenny Henrys voice sounds weird.

Lenny Henry will use his money to end the series as the new Lord of the Manor.
