I don't think Mitch Hedberg was on the list was he? I don't remember seeing him anyway. :o Pity.

Michael McIntyre's going to be really high isn't he...

    I fear so... :(

I don't dislike him I just don't think he is that funny, not funny enough to be at number nine considering he didn't make the list last year

Phew I was worry McIntyre would be higher, still too high mind, not that he isn't funny, much funnier then Kay for example.

Yeah, I suppose unlike Kay, at least he comes up with new material! Not a huge fan, though.

Michael lower than I expected! I think the talking heads summed up well there what's good about him. Some people are mystified by it.
That said this is voted by a British audience and Mitch was never really big over here....I mean, he wasn't mammoth in the U.S.A, so he was barely heard of here in Britain. I think him not being on the list is more testament to the fact he's just not as well heard of, rather than the fact he's not one of the 100 best comedians of all time.

Yeah that's true. He gained some notoriety after he died but before then I'd only seen him a handful of times on late night stand up shows on Paramount Comedy.

"I take care of my kids!"

That Chris Rock sketch always reminds me of Peter Andre.

I agree- his material may be like reading a column in the Torygraph but at least he writes new material. Kay has been living off the same old comedy material for years. :(

Bill Bailey is hilarious. I have him doing Billy Bragg on my iPod :o

You are Prince Charles and I claim my £10

I've heard Peter Kay do that joke for at least 10 years

Love Bill Bailey. Saw him at Glastonbury at about 1am in the pouring rain, one of the most fun stand up shows I've ever been to.

I think he's going back on tour soon. He was interviewed at Aintree today.

You could say that about a few other comedians that have ranked so high.

And come on give the guy some credit, his 2011 tour is the fastest selling ever for a comedian.

You don't think C4 are going to bother finding new clips for people who were in the 2007 survey do you?

I'm battling to keep awake and want to go to bed but really want to watch it to the end, lol.
I've got a feeling it's going to be Connolly again.

Probably Richard Prior, Ricky Gervais and Billy Connolly in some order.
