Sony TV & i Player problem

When using the Sony TV to access BBC i Player, if we pause the programme we're watching we can't then resume it. We get an error message with a code 02100. Can't seem to find anything about it. If we use the PS4 or BT box we have no problem.

    Not sure if my experience has any relevance, but when using BBC iPlayer, I attempted to rewind to see an earlier part of the programme again, and found that it wouldn't oblige- it began with the start of the programme I think, then jumped past the bit I wanted to a later part of the show. I tried a couple of times but couldn't get the part. I didn't however think to try the whole programme again at another time altogether. It would seem that interrupting the iPlayer programme either by pausing or rewinding isn't a good idea...
