Well, we're only twelve minutes in and I've already 'awwwwed' and cried and gone off to hug my own dog twice! :)

Just seen sparkle, I hope she pulls through, some people are not worthy of breathing the air around us, evil, just evil.

Get the b*****d who did this to that poor thing and shut him in a suitcase-or let a few dog lovers loose on him. I would be at the front of the queue!

The state of that starved dog was disgusting! I can't understand how some can starve a dog to that extent and leave it for dead in a park. They must be absolutely hardened pigs to do that. Talk about having no conscience.

I cried within a minute of it being on air :(

How can people be so cruel .... So lovely seeing Sparkle getting a new loving home :)

I am hoping Paul take Calamine the Boxer home.

Such good news about sparkle, what a horrible time she had endured in just the first year or so of her life. I hope she goes on to have a wonderful life with her new owners.

Anyone willing to bet Paul will end up with a dog?

Paul was on The One Show and
he said he didn't adopt the Boxer as he was too big for his other dogs but he did end up taking a puppy home by the end of filming

Damn, I forgot this was on and missed it.

There's an interview with Paul in this week's Radio Times. He says that, before he agreed to present the programme, he insisted that a clause be written into his contract - under no circumstanes was he to be allowed to take a dog home!
But on the last day of filming he broke his own rule and took home the last puppy in a litter!

    Catch up on ITV Player?

I'm not sure there would be many people who could work on a show like this and not want to take all the dogs home at the end of it!

I watched both of these and felt angry and sad. Angry that people can leave innocent animals in the state they were and sad for the dogs because they have been treated like that. I think he will end up taking one home with him, he loves dogs!
