Still Series 7 so it must be the leftovers - from what the official Chase Youtube channel has posted, Series 8 has new background lighting for the Chasers - directly stolen from the Chase USA.

Hope she goes out
What did she actually go up to in the cash-builder (I'd only just got in). She did look a bit of an airhead though so I'm assuming it was perhaps at most £1,000.
Yet another complete lack of strategy and tactical knowledge shown by the team today. The last contestant HAD to go for the lower offer, these people need to engage their brains a bit. Frustrating to watch.
Felt sorry for that last lady. I've now decided - if I ever got on this show - if anyone before me went for a lower offer - even if I'd got £12K in the cash-builder myself - I'd go low as well - even a minus.

Correct she only got one question correct and passed on several fairly easy ones.

I don't understand. Why did the last contestant have to go for the lower offer?

Starts again today, wonder which Chaser will kick off proceedings.

No, we're not, because that shows you don't understand the game.

In fairness she has answered three (albeit piss-easy) questions in the final cash-builder.
S'okay folks. I've calmed down now.
Usually always? C'mon. Make your mind up!
Paul made a bit of a meal of that, pretty average team who were never going to win.
They had £11k in the pot (3 made it through) and got a score of 14 in Final Chase. Paul won with 5 seconds to spare.
Thanks. He must've had a nightmare if he only won by 5 seconds on that low a final!
