Well she is going to be on-screen for the rest of the year and has a cast shot.

She used to be amazing in Family Affairs, like one of their biggest stars!

I actually llike her and think she put in a good performance next to Ian. Hopefully we will see the effects of her job has on her personally amd get to know her better rather than just be another one-dimensional police officer or whatever she is.

The bloke was terrible, devoid of any compassion for Ian.
I realise they have to maintain a professional attitude, but really, there are limits.

I thought she was really good tonight. Didn't like the actor that played the other detective though, seemed way too cold.

There's definitely a slowburner between her and Ian building up - the sexual chemistry is undeniable.

Emma (played by Anna Acton) may be around a while, apparently (hopefully, anyway).

The male police officer however, more than likely, won't be.

She was Geri (a barmaid I think) and was there right until the end! Agreed about her on EE, loved her last night.

DTC worked with Anna Acton (Emma) on Family Affairs.
I think Emma is great so far, I am hoping we get the chance to find out a bit more about her life, especially if she is around for the rest of the year.

I think we will see her becoming too emotionally involved in the case and the Beale's. Maybe we will see aspects of her home life too.

I like the fact they are going to use a character like this as every family who are the victims of a mysterious death/murder are given a FLO. Having Emma as a regular makes it realistic.

Good move IMO - making a policewoman, a character like this a regular - a bit different and will be interested to see where it all goes, exactly. Should be good.

As someone said earlier, the sexual chemistry between her and The Weasel was sizzling. Another gorgeous woman somehow falling for his charms, whatever they may be. I think they will end up living together and having at least 2 weasel-like children.
