According to the Daily Mail, Sullivan Stapleton has been seriously injured in an accident in whilst in Thailand filing the new series of Strike Back.
It doesn’t say what happened exactly, only that it happened while he wasn’t filming.
It’ not good news for him given he’s taken over the lead role in the new 300 film which is coming out in a few weeks so he should have been doing a lot of press for that. If the article is correct in saying Strike Back production has also been pushed back 6 months while he recovers then I doubt we’ll see the new, and final series this year as planned.
Only just discovered the series. It's a shame that Philip Winchester is such a bad actor. The stories are extremely over the top but most of them are quite gripping. Discounting series 1 (but still numbering the series the UK way,) series 2 and 4 are good and series 3 was pretty boring.
