What a disastrous year for Eurovision
Finland - Marry Me
UK - Believe in Me
Germany - Glorious
THE ONLY songs that in anyway stand out and are singable
The rest are awfully written, awful melody or the singers arent up to scratch
JUST BECAUSE Bonnie Tyler is a little older doesnt mean its awful that such an ageist attitude.
Its literally the best song in 5 years for me and i have supported the uk since Jade Ewan

I've supported the UK since the early seventies and this song is just as crap as those we've sent for the past ten years.
Saying it's the best song in five years is like saying it's the nicest smelling turd in a bucket of turds.
Haha. Yes its not up to much is it... were we surprised though? I wasnt.
Im more upset about Macedonia possibly changing their song than the entire revelation of my own countries' song.
Wrong.
I'll give you a stronger three;
Norway - Feed You My Love
Denmark - Only Teardrops
Ireland - Only Love Survives
I do like Bonnie's entry though and while I liked Cascada at the start, it isn't a strong song and I'm going off it quite a bit.
I like Marry Me and it's in my top five, but I wouldn't exactly hold it up as an example of a great song
Personally I also think its a great song...best for years. and a good song in its own right.

I'll give you the first two, but Ireland....are you mad?
Even if you do like the song, he can't actually sing well. In my opinion, Ireland is one of thw worst this year.
Yep. I have Ireland maybe on a par with UK, but both are streets ahead of Germany and Finland. I actually liked Germany initially but I think that was more to do with Cascada rather than the actual song (which is quite weak).
Sort of "anthemic"
I don't usually like the UK entry but this year I really like it. I have it about 5th at the moment, mainly due to the distinct sound of Bonnie's voice.
Singing favours the young since voices deteriorate especially if put under strain due to a long albeit successful career.
On my first hearing of the UK song I though it was really terrible. Just been listening a few times more, also watching the live version and it's a grower. However, a lot of my friends only listen to the songs for the first time on the actual night. So going on this basis it's another duff year for us. Shame.
