I am humble, and a realist, so don't think its one of mine, but just wondering what others have felt have been the best GD threads this year?

Possibly a few categories...

Most amusing

Most interesting

Best debate etc

Can't remember tbh, as with every year, there are so many threads of varying degrees, and none of them have really stuck in my mind.

I remember a few classics in the past, such as the 'RG11 repull', 'I took a dump in a Pringles container' and 'I'm jealous of my girlfriend's dildo'.

I was going to make a serious response but this is obviously the wrong place for a considered opinion!

At the risk of sounding like a bit of a kiss ass, or at worst some kind of lurking stalker, I actually do think a few of your threads are excellent, and genuinely fascinating (esp Palaeontology and animal intelligence).

See, for me, that RG11 repull one is massively overated.

One assumes the Pistorius thread would win this by sheer force of numbers?

It might have a lot of responses, but I'm guessing that most of them are from a smallish number of FMs.

For me, Trivial Things That Annoy You Intensely is a good read. :)

The RG11 repull thread - is that the one with the white van and the woman having an affair? Somebody posted a link to it a few months ago and I think I was up the whole night reading it :D

The one I remember was "What question would you ask Tom Cruise" after a very feeble Graham Norton asking him questions that didnt get to the core , I think it was around Cruise playing the part of Lee Child ....love to find it .

As I remember there was another similar Questions to Cheryl Cole and Peter Andre very good indeed
