    If Maxine did learn Nico killed Patrick or Nico tells her she killed Patrick but still offers Maxine a deal help her and Nico helps her. Maxine helps Nico frame Sienna and Nico makes sure Sienna goes to jail so Maxine scott free. Since Maxine doesn't want to lose her daughter she make a deal with anyone to stay with her daughter even if it means making a deal with the devil like Nico then she'll have no choice cause she's scared of losing her daughter. If Maxine where to help Nico send Sienna to jail, Nico's favour to Maxine would be cutting her in on Patrick's will and letting Nico stay with Maxine.

    Indeed there's million possibilities how how this storyline could go down.

    Why didn't Darren and Nancy just wait till after dark then dump him off the cliff where he was supposed to have jumped from.

    Pretty despicable of Nancy and Darren if they're framing Maxine, espscially knowing she has a baby daughter (who has special needs) who will grow up without either parent if Maxine is sent to jail
