You'll all forget about the size of the DOG when you actually watch the game! lol

I rather like ITV's DOG in a way. It's got a great Pro Evo feel to it.

Just scrolling through the masses of the 'WorldCup2014' 'hashtags' being made right now, I see that Minnie Driver is watching this game.

    This amuses me somehow.

My coverage has stopped due to a technical error. Anyone else watching online?

Missed the OG for the sodding Itv scoreboard, bloody things taking up half the screen, rediculous!

Funny you should say that, I'm watching ITV and saw it quite clear...

Meh complaining over a DOG? Game is on ORC people... We saw both the goals didn't we ? Dunno why Hyundai pulled out of being broadcast sponsor after all the exposure ITV gave them at the last World Cup! :D

Me too. Anyone would think it was taking up the whole screen. It really isn't.

My coverage stopped after 10 minutes on ITV.com, now I am watching via TVCatchup, coverage is fine.

Im guessing that one is the world feed one then, and BBC/ITV take a clean feed of the world feed and apply their own garbage?

Nope, the world feed is always clean. European broadcasters yust use this type. of scoreboard so they don't have to make the graphics themselves and it looks like the inserts below. By the way Austrian ORF got a mix of the RTE and ZDF ones (whith the flags like RTE, but with 2 small boxes besides the flags showing the colour of the shirts).

The Sony bumper ads are really annoying.

The score graphic is definitely too big. It's a shame because it's actually a good design - the team graphics before the match and captions in the build-up all look fine. The score graphic just needs to be shrunk or (preferably) altered so that everything is in one line rather than the large 'block' we have right now.

Any of the ITV Sport bods on twitter? Niall Sloane is not, which is a shame.

I'm still watching on ITV Player and it's fine for me. Haven't had any issues through the evening.

The sound is out of synch on ITV HD, by just a split second but it's noticeable on the half time talky bits. ITV SD is fine tho. Odd

It's winter in Brazil (or at least their version of it). Sunset tonight in Sao Paolo was 5.27pm.

What do you think the sky is like at 6pm in the Northern Hemisphere in December?

Isn't it the Brazilian winter? The shortest day will be on June 21st. It's dark in Sao Paulo too.

Well, except people who work for the BBC of course.

If you up in the early hrs of the morning then you can, as they are showing a re-run of this opening game :p

They are also closer to the equator than we are so days will be of more equal length.
