In the living room of a farmhouse somewhere in Bedfordshire, Alastair Cook is sat with a wry grin on his face at what's happened to Warne ;)

disappointing tho I was looking forward to seeing warne and murali bowl in tandem

yeah I actually missed the news about the broken hand whilst channel hopping in the break and when I switched on at the start of the MCC innings I was expecting to see 6 slips and 2 gullies

KP stumped two days in a row, not made many runs this season.
Warne out after being hit by a beamer.

Perhaps Cookie's luck is starting to turn.

Apparently Andrew Strauss has just called KP a "c-nt" on the Sky overseas feed when he thought he was off air.

He needs to play proper cricket

Brian Lara...Good batter especially on the very best pitches.

    Nasty injury for Warne

Guess he's insured by the ECB rather than the MCC ?

Strauss has just apologised unreservedly on air

he says he's mortified.....don't get that bit. It was him who said it !

He should have just said I'm sorry to have got caught !

strauss just apologised on air for his comment

hope that's the end of it as there have undoubtedly been worse things said in a commentary box that didn't get broadcast

i'm a KP fan but don't think it does anyone any good for something like this to drag on

altho unsurprisingly I see piers morgan has called for SKY to sack strauss , maybe hes upset that strauss used his "name" inappropriately

These comments have somewhat overshadowed a terrific innings from Aaron Finch

Currently 163* off 136 balls as MCC cruise towards victory

Strauss must go, irrespective of who he said it about, you simply can't get away with dropping a c bomb on air.

First rule if being mic'd up, always assume that you are on air, even if told otherwise, as things like this have happens to other people as well, look at Ron Atkinson over at ITV.
    It is basic stuff really.
