For a while I had an entire wall papered with photocopies of Patti smith's Horses: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/88/PattiSmithHorses.jpg

I also had:

1. A photograph of my mother in a Manchester University blazer;

2. A couple of Lone Groover cartoons from NME;

3. A print of Hogarth's Shrimp Girl .

    I had posters from Smash Hits, mostly A-ha and Paul Young. Oh the shame of my early teens. :D

    My late teens I had a wall of Garfield that I drew myself and painted. Only art I was any good at.

    I was lucky enough to see Patti in concert last September OP. I have never been so in awe of a person before. Horses is my fave album of all time.

    In answer to the question, I had Movie posters on my wall as a student. Pulp Fiction, Fear & Loathing etc.

    I saw them live a couple of years ago, supporting Morrissey. Not that impressed tbh, they acted like they were greater than that one great song, and that one that was used as an advert. :p

    I had... nothing I don't think. I still don't decorate my walls with stuff, I just leave them plain.
