Having watched hours upon hours of video and read many books by CH I wonder if anyone on DS did not care for CH?

Not on DS, but I don't think George Galloway was a fan.

He had some stupid ideas from time to time, like on the war, but largely he was ok.

I respect him, but don't/ didn't like him much. Tended towards racism and sexism. Right about the God stuff, though ;)

Oh yeah I forgot about all that. I seem to be quoting you a lot recently, I'm not stalking you honest.

I do think he was a bit of a bigot ironically, although he managed to intellectualise it to a degree that he could get away with it. Unlike his brother, so considering they were related its amazing he wasn't a lot more of one.

I'm a big fan. His brother, however, must surely be the most miserable person in the country.

He is quite wrong of course. God can call people to Him at any age, regardless of upbringing. Lots of Christians I know, including myself, became Christians later in life despite having no real exposure to religion when young.

I had no problems with Chris myself, he was an intelligent chap. I disagreed with many of his views and agreed with some, as with anyone. I have to say I enjoyed him handing Galloway his arse repeatedly.

I have a grudging respect for his brother, Peter, also.

I don't agree with much of what he says, but I admire anyone who speaks their mind - especially when their views fly in the face of political correctness.

He says what he thinks and I respect that.

From the little i saw of him (a handfull of debates) i didn't like or respect him but that doesn't mean i would've disliked him had l met him, he may have just been more agressive in certain sittuations.
