Touch Season 1 UK Pace [NO SPOILERS]

Starts on Sky 1 13th March.
I'm looking forward to this, as it has a different tangent to other paranormal series.
What do you think?

I enjoyed the pilot ep (reminds me of the film pi a bit)

As long as they get the pacing right (story arc wise) this could be excellent. Will it get the viewing figures to run for long enough? I'd worry about the fickleness of Fox to be honest. Definitely one to watch

I didn't realise there had been a pilot episode. I wonder it is going to be repeated.

I'm thinking platelet probably downloaded it off the internet.

It looks like Sky are showing the the entire series, starting with the pilot episode on the 13th.

Is this really a 'cult' series?

FOX look to have changed the premiere of Touch to Thurs March 22 at 9 p.m. EST

I cannot see Sky1 airing the show on the 13th March before the show airs on FOX in the US

The pilot episode aired in January in the US so unless Sky1 will just air the pilot on the 13th March and then air the 2nd episode 2 weeks later. Alternatively Sky1 could put the season premier back to the 20th March?

Cult, Sci-Fi & Fantasy If this was cult board 90% of threads would not belong in this section.

yes sorry about that, I should have made that clear. Fox screened the first episode in the states back in Jan for some strange reason

DigiGuide has it on Tuesday March 20th, 8pm.

DigiGuide has it on Tuesday March 20th, 8pm.

That'll be the correct date, i really can't see Sky starting it on the 13th and then waiting two weeks until the next episode, it could potentially cause the show to lose viewers if they did that.

I don't know much about the show but it doesn't look promising from the trailer. A kid that can predict the future in some new agey style.

I quite like it when a series has a more metaphysical take on things. Carnivaal season 1 was quite good untill it lost its way in season 2.

    I just hope that:

    1. They have actually thought out the story and not made it up as they go along and write themselves into a total mess and dupe everyone for 6 yeas like Lost.

    2. If they are going to cancel it anytime, then allow them to finish it off and write a decent ending.

The pilot was good and looks promising.

So it would seem (Not that we will talk about it on this thread, but just for interest) that:

    Sky 20th March - Episode 1 (Pilot)
    Fox (USA) March 22nd - Episode 2

So not a lot of time difference in it. (about 5 days behind US Pace)
