It's saying a lot when Cameron shows Salmond how to be a statesman.

Lord Smith of Kelvin to oversee devolution settlement.

All four nations to get more powers.

rUk will have debate/timetable running concurrently with Scotland.

hes basically saying what I said earlier in the thread , the change cant happen in isolation for Scotland , it has to happen in parallel across the whole UK or it just ends up being a mess

Should be a good day on the stock market. Time to fill your boots.

How do you suggest I "fill my boots" indeed what does that comment mean?

Might be good news for pension funds but as for me.......................?

    Morning everyone.
Utterly stunned by such a large %. That poll last night from yougov was pretty much on target. Looks like after the 2nd debate the yes vote peaked and people got nervous when they heard the endless warnings from the big companies (plus Gordon brown)

Odd, I had never spotted before that it was all the pro union people that were the early risers.

You know at the end of Finding Nemo when the fish are floating around in the ocean in their plastic bags and one of them goes, "...now what?" I think that might be the best way to sum up Scotland right now ^_^

we are so different. within the countries but all so special. Scotland has its bagpipes. Wales has its singing and poetry and of course its Rugby football. we are all UK and exceedingly proud of each other ...even England hahahaha.. i am welsh and I had to step out of the room when Germany scored first in 1966. My Dad, who was English welcomed me back when Hurst equalized. the welsh have always supported the English exept for rugby. that's ok.

From somebody who has posted on this thread since 2012 (how sad!), I think we should just have a minutes silence for our fallen comrades, such as woot_whoo and Auld Snody. Fun times ;-)

Heh, it's all gone quiet over there...

I'm expecting they'll resurface with the Tommy Sheridan line; it's all been lies and media bias.

    agreed

isn't it normal practice in a concession speech to congratulate the other side ? not stand and make demands when you have just lost

Yes he was quite churlish & ill mannered I thought, still what do you expect ? !

I'm sure they will come on board with Team Scotland now.
