The classic Sex, Lies And Videotape starring the mega-talented (and delicious) James Spader. A brilliantly well acted and written film. I still love it as much as ever after all these years.

Last night I watched the second film in the trilogy and thought it was even better than the first.

    The Wicker Man (og)

Love it. Just one of those films I always enjoy, and Christopher Lee is fantastic. :)

That is such a haunting film - I love it too.

Last night, we saw Meet Joe Black. We enjoyed the first two hours - excellent premise, good acting, Brad Pitt looking beautiful: what more could you want? Well - for it to end, by the time it went into its third hour. As my daughter quoted from a review:" There's a solid 95-minute movie buried somewhere in here. "

A pity as it could have been great. So 6/10 for that reason

Just watched Quartet starring many luminaries but including Maggie Smith and Billy Connolly. Much better than I expected - and not a moment wasted 9/10

    The Hangover 3

The final film in the "Hangover" trilogy. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! To recap: I enjoyed the first film and the 2nd film was even better. But the 3rd film just didn't fit in with what they did in the previous ones. There were very few laughs, it took itself far more seriously than before and no one looked liked they were having fun. It's somewhat shocking to see how different the 3rd film was compared to the other 2. It did not feel like a HANGOVER film! Sadly PART 3 gets a thumbs down from me. :(

I haven't watched it yet but my mates wanted me to see it and I said I hadn't seen Part 2 yet (at the time) and they said well you've seen Part 1 - it's just the same as that.
So I said ok, i'll not bother then :D

I saw this, a couple of years before Cowboys and Aliens was made. It was a bit like a cross between Close Encounters and Starship Troopers.

    Pacific Rim. 4/10

What a massive disappointment!! The div from Eastenders was atrocious (as was the lead bloke and Idris Elba) and the end basically ripped off anther sci fi film.
